This page explains how Sellify users can delete conversation data and control when data is removed automatically. Sellify gives you full control over your customer chat history and related order data stored on our platform.

1. Delete Any Conversation Anytime

You can delete any individual conversation at any time from your Sellify dashboard. Once deleted, the conversation messages, associated order details linked to that chat, and any AI-generated context for that thread are permanently removed from Sellify and cannot be recovered.

To delete a single conversation:

  1. Log in to your Sellify dashboard at sellifybd.com
  2. Open Inbox and select the conversation you want to remove
  3. Click the Delete conversation option from the conversation menu
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Deletion is immediate for the selected conversation. You do not need to contact support to remove individual chats.

2. Automatic Deletion With Configurable Delete Period

Sellify includes a configurable delete period setting that lets you decide when conversation data should be deleted automatically. Instead of keeping chats indefinitely, you can set a retention window that matches how your business operates.

To configure automatic data deletion:

  1. Go to your Sellify dashboard
  2. Open Settings → Data & Privacy
  3. Find the Delete Period setting
  4. Choose how long conversation data should be kept before automatic deletion (up to a maximum of 90 days)
  5. Save your changes

The delete period can be set anywhere from immediate removal up to a maximum of 90 days. After you choose a period, Sellify automatically removes conversation data that is older than your selected timeframe. For example, if you choose a 30-day delete period, conversations older than 30 days will be deleted automatically on a rolling basis.

You can change or turn off the delete period setting at any time. Updates apply going forward and do not restore data that has already been deleted.

3. Delete All Data for Your Account or Page

If you want to remove all data associated with your business on Sellify, you can:

  • Disconnect your Facebook or Instagram Page from the Sellify dashboard. Meta-related conversation data is deleted within 30 days.
  • Delete your Sellify account from account settings. All associated seller, conversation, and order data is removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Revoke Sellify access from Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites to stop future data collection.

4. Customer Data Deletion Requests

If one of your customers asks you to delete their data, you can delete the relevant conversation directly from your inbox using the steps in Section 1. You may also contact us if you need help locating or removing customer data tied to your page.

Customers may also email us directly at sellifybdadmin@gmail.comwith the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. We will process valid requests within 30 days and notify the requester by email once deletion is complete.

5. What Gets Deleted

Depending on the deletion method you use, the following data may be removed:

  • Chat messages and conversation history
  • Customer name, phone number, and delivery address collected during the chat
  • Order details and payment verification references linked to the conversation
  • AI conversation context and product inquiry history for that thread
